Photography started out as an exciting hobby for an inquisitive 11 year old Premilla. Twenty years on, in 2010, she studied at Market Photography Workshop in Johannesburg and began freelancing for Hype Magazine. Premilla (self-portrait on right) specializes in live event photography, with a strong focus on creative low light imagery. Her repeat clients include South African Breweries, Hype Magazine, Sony, KPMG, African Storm Sound System, Film Factory, Andira Urban Services, Women of the Sun and Amariam Productions. Highlights of her career include shooting at the concerts of N.E.R.D., Tinie Tempah, Miguel, Talib Kweli, Joe Thomas, Eric Roberson and Kem.
